Darwin World War II Oil Storage Tunnels

Darwin World War II Oil Storage Tunnels was built as an underground oil storage facility for use during the war at a high cost but never put into use during the war. The facility was opened in 1992 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Bombing of Darwin.

Wuhan’s Yellow Crane Tower

Yellow Crane Tower or 黄鹤楼 is located in Wuhan, Hubei Province of China. First built in AD 223 by Sun Quan as a watch tower for his army, the tower has been destroyed twelve times throughout history and repaired or rebuilt ten times.
